Candidates wishing to pursue their credentials in Sport Physiotherapy must follow a multi step process to ensure they meet the necessary criteria to challenge at each level. Please note that candidates will confirm the level of examination, preferred language and required documents through the Examination Form.

Please thoroughly review SPC Program Resources and SPC Oral Practical Prerequisites when registering to ensure you are meeting the criteria and submitting the correct supporting documentation.

Dates: The 2026 Oral Practical exam will be held the fourth weekend of April (April 24, 25, 26).
Location: Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON
Language(s): English and French (Toronto location only)

Cost: $1000 (+tax)

Registration Deadline: February 16, 2026
Registration closes the third Monday of February

Supporting Documentation Deadline: April 6, 2026
*If the requisite documentation is not submitted by the deadline, candidates will not be permitted to challenge the oral practical exam and they will forgo their exam registration fees

Policy and Cancellation

  • Upon completing the registration form, candidates must also submit their supporting documents using the link provided in order for their application to be deemed complete.
  • Candidates are to block the entire weekend. Switches – date / time, will not be permitted. Creating the exam schedule is incredibly complex and time consuming, we appreciate your understanding.
  • Priority will be given to candidates who reside within each exam region. Please do not apply “out of region”.
  • Cancellations received prior to the registration deadline will receive a full refund, minus a $75 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations received after the registration deadline until a month before the exam will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations received within a month of the event are not eligible for a refund, unless a medical or extenuating circumstance can be provided.
